We believe it is important that all children have the opportunity to experience music through our classroom teaching, as well as through assemblies, internal and external clubs and variety of performances throughout the school year. All children are able to listen, sing and evaluate different  genres and use their imagination to be creative with their voices, experimenting with a different songs, as well as practicing other skills such as chanting and rhyming. Children explore a range of instruments, both tuned and un-tuned and are encouraged to feedback to their peers after watching a performance.  We are passionate about children developing their own musical tastes and opinions, as well as understanding the importance of respecting all musical genres.
