We provide children with a breadth of understanding about history in their own living memory and in the past. Through our engaging topics our teaching enables children to develop a curiosity about British history and its impact on their lives today. Children have an understanding of the past and how it has changed their own lives and the lives of others around them. By the time they leave the school, children will have a real interest in history within their locality and beyond and have the skills they need to explore this further in their education.
